Her Three Priorities

What Carissa Will Fight For

If elected to the Fargo Public Schools board, Carissa will focus on three things every Fargo family deserves from their public schools.

Safe Schools

Every student deserves to walk into school feeling secure. Carissa will prioritize safety measures, clear discipline policies, and an environment where students can focus on learning , not fear.

Strong Fundamentals

A return to core curriculum and high academic standards. Students should graduate Fargo Public Schools with the reading, writing, math, and critical thinking skills they need to succeed, whether in college, a trade, or the workforce.

Responsible Budgeting

Fargo families trust the school board to spend their tax dollars wisely. Carissa will push for budgets that stay within available resources and direct spending where it matters most: students and teachers.

About Carissa

A Neighbor.
A North Dakotan.
A Voice for Students.

Hi, I'm Carissa Geske, a local entrepreneur and 4th-generation North Dakotan who loves Fargo and wants to see our public schools improve. I grew up attending private school and am grateful for that experience, but I've seen firsthand, through my siblings, who attended North High - both the strengths and the challenges facing our public schools.

Whatever reason a family chooses public education, they deserve the best we can offer. I believe we have an opportunity to get back to the basics and hold our students to a higher standard because strong schools build strong communities.

Education B.S. in Integrated Communication, Liberty University. Academic gap year through Impact 360 Institute.
Leadership Served on the Student Senate (School of Communications) and the Alumni Board for Impact 360 Institute.
Professional Experience Background spanning healthcare, consulting, finance, and marketing. Currently runs her own business right here in Fargo.
4th-Generation North Dakotan Deep roots in this community. This isn't just politics. It's personal.
